Jakarta – Minister of Law, Supratman Andi Agtas, announced that the dualism within the Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) has officially come to an end. On Monday (October 6, 2025), Supratman issued the Ministerial Decree No. M.HH-15.AH.11.02 of 2025 concerning the Ratification of the Changes in the Organizational Structure of the Central Executive Board of the PPP for the 2025–2030 term. Under this decree, H. Muhamad Mardiono is appointed as Chairman, with Agus Suparmanto serving as Vice Chairman.
"Both factions (Mardiono's and Agus's) have acknowledged a new Ministerial Decree (SK) marking significant progress in the reconciliation process. Public must allow PPP's internal team to carry out a thorough reconciliation,” said Supratman accompanied by Mardiono and Agus at the Ministry of Law Office.
Supratman explained that the PPP had conducted a consolidation across all levels of its organization. Following this, the party submitted a request through Letter Number 4068/EX/DPP/X/2025 dated October 3rd 2025, for changes to the composition of its Central Executive Board for the 2025-2030 term. He expressed hope that the new PPP internal team would soon complete the formation of the entire organizational structure.
"We hope the organizational structure can be completed soon. The Ministry of Law is ready to issue the Ministerial Decree (SK). I hope this can be done as soon as possible," he said.
PPP Chairman Mardiono stated that he had met with Agus Suparmanto's faction and successfully reconciled their disputes. Following the union of Mardiono and Agus, the officials below them will be consolidated within the new organizational structure.
"The organizational structure will also be unified through the management that will soon be perfected via Mukernas' forum. I want to express my gratitude to the government," Mardiono stated.
Agus, the newly appointed Vice Chairman, explained that PPP is now going through a transition period and will ensure all processes are carried out in line with the party’s established mechanisms.
"This is a historical moment. We hope that this reconciliation will create a solid foundation for PPP to recover and continues to contribute to the nation," he said.
