Yogyakarta – The Ministry of Law received two Gold awards at the PR INDONESIA Awards (PRIA) 2026, organized by PR INDONESIA Group.
The first Gold award was won in the Digital Channel, Social Media category for the Ministry of Law’s YouTube channel. The second Gold was awarded in the Owned Media – Video Profile category for a video titled Hukum Asli Indonesia.
Head of the Bureau of Legal Affairs, Public Communication, and Cooperation, Ronald Lumbuun, said that public communication in the legal sector must bridge the gap between regulatory language and public understanding.
“Public communication in law should not stop at delivering normative information. We strive to present content that is contextual, easy to understand, and relevant to people’s daily lives,” Ronald said after receiving the award at Taman Budaya Embung Giwangan, Yogyakarta.
He added that digital platforms are part of the Ministry’s strategy to expand access to legal information and strengthen public legal literacy.
“We use digital platforms so legal information can be delivered faster, reach wider audiences, and be communicated in a more engaging way,” he said.
The Ministry of Law’s YouTube channel currently features various public information, including updates on new regulations, intellectual property services, general legal administration, legal development programs, and human resource capacity building.
Ronald expressed appreciation for the awards, noting that the achievement reflects the collective work of the entire team.
“This award is the result of teamwork and public support. It reflects the collaboration and dedication of everyone involved in managing public communication. For us, public communication is not just about delivering information, but also about building trust,” he said.
The PR INDONESIA Awards is a national public relations competition held since 2016 and is considered one of the benchmarks for communication performance in Indonesia. Winners are selected by a panel of communication practitioners and academics.
