Tangerang – Producing high-quality financial and state asset (BMN) reports is not merely an administrative obligation, but also a strategic effort to promote accountable and integrity-driven governance. Inspector General of the Ministry of Law, Hendro Pandowo, emphasized that reliable financial and asset reporting reflects good public governance.
“The preparation of accurate and transparent financial reports also represents institutional accountability to the state and the public,” Hendro said during the opening of the 2025 Reconciliation and Data Update for Financial Reports and State-Owned Assets at Nusantara Hall, Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), on Monday (Januari 26 2026).
He further noted that strengthening good governance is inseparable from the implementation of digital transformation across government institutions.
“The government’s digital transformation requires us not only to comply with regulations, but also to remain adaptive to continuously evolving systems in support of effective governance,” he stated.
Hendro added that data reconciliation and updating should no longer be seen merely as a process of matching figures.
“This activity serves to ensure consistency among source documents, applicable policies, system applications, and the actual financial transactions recorded,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Head of the Finance Bureau Sri Yusfini Yusuf said the event was attended by 228 participants representing all work units and regional offices within Kemenkum.
“The reconciliation and data updating process aims to ensure data accuracy and consistency, so that the resulting financial and state-owned asset reports are increasingly accountable and justifiable,” said Yusfini.
The four-day event, held from 26 to 29 January 2026, involved direct verification and validation of financial reports and supporting data. Through this initiative, participants are expected to produce higher-quality financial and state-owned asset reports, supporting the Ministry’s efforts to achieve an unqualified audit opinion (WTP).
